The Reggina primavera manged to take three points in the crucial derby match against Messina on saturday afternoon. After going in one goal down at half time the team suffered and battled untill the very end eventually winning 2-1. The first occasion was for the away team with the young Rizzo curling a well struck freekick  which Sarao tipped on to the crossbar. Then after a few minutes Reggina began to grow in confidence coming close firstly with Viola then with Benci who headed wide from a corner kick. However on the 33' arrived the wake up call for Reggina when Bernardo who worked the ball on the edge of the box which came to Torre who then placed the ball past the reggina goalkeeper Sarao to give Messina the advantage. In the second half the boys came out with more aggression looking for the equalizer. On the 62' minute it came when Khoris got himself on the end of a corner kick poking in the equalizer. Exactly 9' minutes later with another corner Adejo jumped higher than his marker and powered in the winning goal with a strong header. Khoris came close again with a well struck free kick from 20 yards but in the end the 2 goals were enough. Now the primavera continue their search for 5th place in the league.
