Another success, the fourth consecutive league win for the primavera. The latest to take on Reggina were Avellino who lost 2-1 on saturday afternoon to the home side. At the “Centro Sportivo S.Agata” there was a large crowd of spectators to give support, which the boys needed in the second half. The team earned three massive points thanks to a fighting and suffering performance untill the very end. Conferming their excellent form in the last few weeks. After going in 0-0 at half time the boys of Roberto Breda needed to lift the spirits and they did just that. Coming out with Leo Gatto and some brilliant skill on the right wing then delivering for Lamenza who side footed the ball in for the first goal of the game. The home side were not able to close the match and on 25` the opposition found a goal with Guerriero to make it 1-1. Immediately Reggina went looking for the win with Szatmari shooting with a thunderous strike from 20 yards, 1 minute after the English defender Thackray came very close on two occasions from two corner kicks. On 33` the episode which decided the match, Szatmari robbed the ball and the midfielder put through a precision pass to the chest of Iannazzo who the with two touches burried the ball in the back of the net for the definitive 2-1. The boys of Breda can celebrate the important victory that takes them to 24 points in the league. Next Saturday the boys are away to Ascoli who hold the top spot in the league.
